Synopsis
Fire on the Mountain focuses on a climactic battle between the American Army and the People’s Army of Vietnam for possession of a mountain overlooking a vital logistics route in the central highlands of Vietnam. It is a battle no one wants and no one can win, yet both sides fight with bravery and resolve. When it is over, both sides move on leaving only the twisted, burned-out hulk of a mountain and the bloody loss of many brave young men.

He was thrown back into his RTO saving the man’s life for a few brief moments. When he came to his senses, he felt that he was lying in some hollow, a dark protected bowl on the forest floor.
